Everything we get asked about weights, sizes, invoices, delivery and returns. If your question is not here, the contact page reaches a person.
GSM is grams per square metre: the weight of a single square metre of that sheet. It is the number that decides how substantial the paper feels and whether your printer will pull it through cleanly.
As a rough guide: 70–80 GSM is everyday copier paper, 100 GSM is letterhead weight, 170 GSM holds up as a poster or cover, and 250 GSM and above is card and board. There is an interactive scale on the homepage that shows what each weight is for.
The ISO A-series from A0 down to A6, plus legal and foolscap where the stock is made in those cuts. A4 is 210 × 297 mm and A3 is 297 × 420 mm — each step up the series doubles the area.
The exact size is printed on every product page above the buy button, so you never have to work it out from the photograph.
The pack quantity is listed as a selectable specification on each product page. A full ream is 500 sheets; smaller craft and specialty packs are often 20, 50 or 100. Rolls are sold by the piece or by the box, and the listing says which.
Almost any home or office laser and inkjet printer handles 70–120 GSM without complaint. Above roughly 160 GSM you usually need the rear or manual feed tray and the "thick paper" or "cardstock" setting.
Glossy and coated stock must be matched to the printing method — coated sheets meant for offset or laser printing will smear if you run them through an inkjet. If you are unsure, send us the printer model and we will tell you what will feed.
Yes. Every price on the site already includes GST at 12%, and the checkout screen shows the tax portion separately so you can see exactly what it is. Nothing is added on top at the end.
A GST invoice with the HSN code goes out with every dispatch and is emailed to the address on the order. If you are claiming input credit, add your business name and GSTIN in the address field at checkout and we will put them on the invoice.
Our GSTIN is 27AQSPS6757L1ZN.
UPI through any app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any other — or cash on delivery. There is no surcharge on either. UPI payments go through a secure gateway and we never see or store your payment credentials.
No. Shipping is already inside the listed price. The total shown in your order summary is the amount you pay, whether you pay by UPI or in cash to the courier.
Dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed, on business days. Orders placed on a Sunday or a public holiday go out the next working morning.
Delivery then takes 3–8 business days across India, depending on how far the parcel has to travel. Metro addresses are usually at the shorter end of that range.
Reams travel in their original mill wrap, which is a moisture barrier as much as it is packaging — so we never break a wrapper to split a pack. Everything then goes into a corrugated box rather than a courier bag, because paper corners and edges do not survive a bag.
Large sheets and art paper ship flat or rolled in a tube depending on the size, and rolls are boxed upright so the ends are not crushed.
We deliver to any serviceable PIN code in India. The checkout page checks your PIN code against the state you have selected and tells you straight away if something does not line up.
Very remote PIN codes occasionally add a day or two. If a courier cannot reach your address at all we will contact you and refund in full rather than leave the order sitting.
Every order gets a reference in the format GP followed by the date and a short code, emailed to you as soon as the order is placed. Enter it on the track order page at any time.
Once the parcel is handed to the courier the tracking reference appears on the same page.
Do not accept it if the box is visibly wet or crushed — water damage ruins paper permanently. If you only notice after the courier has gone, photograph the box and the stock and email us within 48 hours; we replace water-damaged and transit-damaged stock at our own cost.
Yes, within 7 days of delivery, provided the ream or pack is unopened and still in its original wrap. Once a wrapper is broken the stock has been exposed to air and humidity and we cannot resell it, so opened packs cannot be taken back on a change of mind.
Damaged, wet, mis-cut or wrongly supplied stock is a different matter entirely — that comes back regardless of whether it has been opened. Full detail is on the refund policy page.
Once the returned stock reaches us and passes inspection, the refund is issued within 2 business days and reaches your original payment method in a further 7–10 business days depending on your bank. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer to an account you nominate.
Paper takes on moisture from the air and then curls, jams and refuses to feed. Three things keep it usable:
If a ream has been somewhere cold, let it sit in the room where you will print for a few hours before opening it. Warm air condensing on cold paper is the usual cause of a printer jam that seems to come from nowhere.
Paper is a mill product and shade varies a little between production batches, particularly on recycled and kraft stock. For jobs where consistency matters, tell us at the time of ordering and we will hold and supply from a single batch.
Yes. Slab pricing starts at ten reams and improves again at pallet quantities. Send the weight, the sheet size and your expected monthly volume to support@ganeshapapers.com and we will quote landed cost including GST.
We supply offices, schools and colleges, print and copy shops, packaging units and stationery retailers.
We can. For regular buyers we reserve stock from a single batch and release it on a monthly or quarterly schedule, so shade and finish stay consistent and your store room is not carrying three months of paper at once.
Yes, on reseller terms with a GST invoice against your GSTIN. Get in touch with your firm name, GSTIN and the range you want to carry, and we will set up pricing.
For any stock we hold, we will send a small sample pack so you can check the feel, the shade and how it runs through your machine before you commit to volume. Ask on the contact page with the weight and size you are considering.
